    Interesting. I tend to think of Richard Rider as a “teen hero” figure — probably because he was in New Warriors. What I’ll really be amused by, though, is whether given Marvel’s track record of pulling off movies (crossing fingers on Guardians), whether Nova will become the definitive “space cop” and GL will be considered a bit of a knockoff whenver DC tries to reboot the film again.

    I wanted him to play Green Lantern. He’s playing Marvel’s equivalent. GOOD!

    The GotG trailers clearly show the Nova Corps, so going from there to Nova makes a lot of sense, and they can probably skip a lot of the origin story crap.

    World building like that is just an awesome idea.
