Day 373 of 365 More.

Isn’t August supposed to be warm? What the fuck happened?

Spent the afternoon at Dave & Buster’s restaurant for a friends birthday party enjoying exciting games of shuffleboard.

Came home and watched movies with Steph. The nice thing about having a monster DVD collection is that you can always find something you feel like watching. This time its, The Shape of Things a nice little indie flick I picked up a while back and never got around to watching.

In other news, my interview in the Tampa Tribune came out today, at least on the website. The print version should be in the paper on Tuesday. As Kevin Smith says, I’m a media whore.

@Mikey/MDDunn Photography: it only got up to 65 today, and its like 58 or 59 now. We’re supposed to maybe make it to 70 tomorrow. A week ago, we were in the 90s and we’re supposed to be back up there by the end of the week. Pittsburgh is an odd place.

"Pittsburgh is an odd place." Duh! I told you that!

At least you weren’t wrapped up in a coat… or maybe you were. Come down here and dodge hurricanes with me, at least you’d be warm.

@lrayholly: I’ve been dodging hurricanes since I was nine years old. I’m not impressed. 🙂

doesn’t count, you were just occasionally in the vicinity. you didn’t live among the beasts 🙂 and Pittsburgh is STILL Odd!

yep! it’s cold here today too…i’m actually going to enjoy it. unlike you, we don’t have a pool in our yard, unless you count the 6" deep inflatable kiddie pool that we rotate from front to back yard depending on the sun/shade factor.
we’re still in need of more rain…which i’m hoping we get…and that way it can warm up and be all sunshiny for next week…while we’re at the beach!

this is a great pic…i love your chiaroscuro pics 🙂

@lrayholly: well, i certainly don’t dispute the oddness.

@pi c’s: we certainly don’t need rain. it’s been raining constantly here. But the sudden cold snap was a surprise. And thanks. Glad you like the pic.

I love that movie (and the play; the movie stays almost exactly to script). I’m always so impressed whwn someone else watches it, because it’s not really maintream. Congrats on the article.

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

@Miss Emily goes bananas: did you actually see the play? I’d love to have seen it. I’m actually a big fan of indie movies, and Paul Rudd in particular. There are a lot of awesome films that no one ever sees.

Meeps same here. It’s supposed to be spring (by this time) and it’s 40 degrees outside this morning! You hve to leave the house in the morning in a coat but layer with tshirts and sweatshirts so as it gets to be 75 degrees you can shed the layers. But that’s Iowa for you I guess.

@simplysilly: Yeah, its actually been quite cold this last week out here. I can’t wait til its warm enough to use my pool.
