So my brother, Marcus brought up this list I made a while back where I talked about the phenomenon of cute child stars who you looked at and said “Damn, they’re gonna grow up hot.” Jameel and I call it TMA’ing (after Tatyana M. Ali).
Marc was impressed because when I made up the list I noted that Miley Cyrus was basically a six pack away from being the next Lindsay Lohan. Something that is now coming to pass (I should have also predicted Amanda Bynes).
Anyway, I thought it’d be fun to revisit this now (3 years later). In particular I wonder about say Jayden Smith, who we thought MIGHT grow up to be a heartthrob, but basically I think he’s kinda awkward looking currently. Maybe he’ll grow out of it in another 3 years.
