Day 161 of 365 days.

Wow. I never noticed how much darker my face was than my hands before. I wonder if that’s normal.

I had a wrestling show tonight. Unlike my last show, which was 4 hours away, this one is only 30 minutes away. The problem was that I just didn’t feel like going. I was dead tired all day today. I really don’t understand why, I slept in, had a good workout and felt great after it (40 minutes of cardio) and basically spent the rest of the day laying around the house and resting, with a little laundry mixed in. And for some reason, by 5’oclock I was dead tired and felt a headache coming on. Its still lingering in the front of my skull as type this hours later. I really hope I’m not getting sick.

Anyway, I take the responsibility of shows very seriously, just like any other job, so skipping it really wasn’t an option. So I rubbed my eyes and tried to wake myself up and this picture was born.

It may also serve as a class with dave picture this week, since I think it conveys the emotion I was feeling quite well. Though maybe not as well as my last headache. Of course, I wish the focus was a little better. But honestly I was feeling a little blurry at the time anyway.

    I like the emotive quality of this…even without the back story above, I would have known your head hurt 🙂 And your forehead wrinkles are cool…

    How funny that the next shot in the pool is this:

    @Vashtia: Thank you.

    @Dave: that’s excellent. I just had to go comment on his pic. And now, I think I must sleep.

    This shot definitely shows your pain. I do hope that your feeling much better. I get migrains way too often and hate how that feels.

    Very expressive, it really shows your pain. I truly hope you feel better soon. THe blurry quality is a good touch. It shows how I feel when I have a horrible throbbing in my head and the room seems to be spinning.

    Oohh, I hope you feel better now! The emotion is really coming across nicely. You look weary and worn out.

    Great Contrast control. Captures what really shows us a difficult moment.
