Day 200 of 365 days.

How much a part of my life has this project become? This is day 200 and I didn’t even realize that til I was posting. So I didn’t think to plan anything special or huge or vainglorious. It was just another day in my life and I took a picture to represent it. Part of it is that I guess the big milestone to me was my day 182 and day 183 half way points. But another thing is that this project just no longer feels like a big deal to me anymore. It’s something I do. Its natural. I no longer feel like I have to go out of my way to do something huge every day. Some days its just about what my life. I kind of like it like that.

In any case, what is special about today is that it represents my completion of the Pittsburgh sports tradition through this project. On Day 50, I went to a Pirates game. On Day 135, I went to a Steelers game. Today, I went to a Pens game. All three of Pittsburgh’s sports are now represented in this project. I think that’s meaningful in some kind of way, right? Let’s just pretend I planned it that way.

    It’s a shame we lost. Awesome though, on the Pittsburgh Sports milestone photos!

    @cellardoore: were you there as well?

    Unfortunately not. Next game I will be attending is March 4th. And yes, finding this Pens photo sure did encourage my joining of 365.

    Congrats Son… don’t know how you stick with it!

    Yes — it’s part of my life now as well. Not running it — it’s an outlet. I’ve got plenty of snapshot images in my 365 set to go with those I meticulously planned. And many of those that turned into a themed image started as a snapshot, or improvised shot.

    I love the arena lights in this one.

    @cellardoore: ah cool… welcome… its a lot of hard work, but a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. We don’t have many Pittsburghers in the group.

    @lrayholly: Like I told you. The trick is to allow yourself to not care on some days. Just make yourself post snapshots on days you don’t feel up to doing something else. But you’ve already discovered that.

    @phlewght: Yeah, its a big step towards self-acceptance, which is part of the point right? And thanx.

    Well, big deal or not, Congrats on hitting 200! And as cool as that is, I think you’ve realized the even cooler part, is that you’ve become a leader of sorts with a rather fanatical fan base. So, that’s got to be a pretty awesome thing.

    @d.rex: Thanks.

    @Travelinjim: Thank you, and yes it has occured to me before. I’m actually pretty proud of it.
