Taken for the Class with Dave group. The assignment was to make a fake album cover. I didn’t have any great ideas (I blame it on me being sick pretty much all week) so I adapted one of this week’s 365 shots. I highly considered putting a "HIT #1 SINGLE!" sticker on it, but steph convinced me that it doesn’t really need one, so I stuck with just the parental advisory label.
I like it very much! The advisory label is a good addition. The light is perfect!

@briemarie: Thankyou, I actually designed that tattoo specifically to have that kind of look. There’s a lot of hidden elements like that in all my tattoos… actually that one has an A and a V too.
I agree – your M design is very cool. I like the silhouette you used, too. And I heard LPs are back in style again, right? Maybe? 🙂

I just really like titles for people. Probably after being raised on comic books and pro wrestling, as I’m sure you can relate to. "Real Persons Name: Title" always sounds cool to me.
Oh, and your logo/tattoo/emblem reminds me of a spider. And like a demonic stag sort of. I like the creative use of crescents though. I imagine I also like it after having been brought up on comics and wrestling. Go figure.

So the ShadoWolf sigil actually has several orgins. Jack is kind of right guessing it looks like a spider. That’s somewhat intentional. I got the idea from a stylized scarab/beetle tattoo I saw. Mine is actually meant to be a stylized tribal wolf’s face from the front. It’s made of tribal crescents just like all of my tattoos. And the crescents are designed to form the letters M, A and V super-imposed on top of each other. The M is very obvious, so it replaces that letter in my name very easily.

it’s awesome that you designed your tats. i’ve got one that has a lot of meaning in it, although i didn’t design it i did play around with the colors that are in it. and someday i’ll get a decent shot during my selfportraits of it.
