last night I got to “debut” as a professional wrestler. Sort of anyway. I didn’t have an individual match, but I was in a Battle Royal at our show last night. Since it wasn’t just my match, I don’t have a lot to say about it. Worth noting I suppose, is that I didn’t win. It was Royal Rumble style rules, and I was pretty lucky with the draw, entering 12th out of 17 people. Was eliminated by Super Hentai. Anyway, it was in front of a very good crowd. Over 1000 people (don’t have an exact count, but they had presold 800 tickets… and all I know is that the place looked packed). So it was a lot of fun.
Uh… so professionally, 0-1, I guess (I really think battle royals shouldn’t really count as a loss, but I the Smackdown video game thinks they should… maybe I should keep a spreadsheet and put a Roger Maris style asterisk next to it).

not so much… in a Battle Royal, its kinda every man for himself. So on one hand, there’s no real reason to… on the other hand… maybe I’ll be bitter.

I didn’t… I had ultimately settled on Afu-Ra’s Warfare, you’ll be glad to know. But then we ended up not doing music because… well, there are 17 people in the battle royal, and its insane.

Well, I still haven’t bought any specific gear yet. And I was sort of in a hurry, since I didn’t find out til really late that I was going to be doing this. So anyway, I wore black karate pants (which I typically train in, incredibly comfortable) and a red tank top and bandana…. very me, really… then I ended up finding a very pimpin’ hat, so I wore that to the ring and took it off as I got in.

actually, its not cake… it was a plate of sandwiches… and free food doesn’t last very long in a room full of beefy men, so no, there’s none left… but hey, become a wrestler, and maybe you too can score a free sandwich.

I would’ve loved to be your manager, or valet, or whatever… sadly, I was not taking my impending move to Maryland into account.

Well, I don’t have anything that *has* flames on it, but almost everything I have looks like fire. And you probably haven’t seen any pictures because there aren’t any yet. But yes, this must be remedied. 😉
I’d really like to see you wrestle sometime. I used to watch wrestling a lot. Somehow I got away from it. Seeing someone I know may get me back into it.
