And now for something completely different…

I have nothing terribly important to say, so i just thought I’d share this picture:

Solomon Grundy, Black Manta & Gorilla Grodd

Just in case there might be someone somewhere who might be jealous of such a thing. A pity I have no one with whom to trade.

How many of the Legion of Doom exist in HeroClix form?

    I am jealous.

so far I have those 3, plus Braniac (the wrong one) and Riddler. According to the poster I have, that appears to be it, I don’t know if there are any that ren’t on my poster. Obviously, I wouldn’t expect the likes of Toyman or Giganta, but its missing Luthor who seems obvious and Sinestro (who would seem obvious, except its also missing Green Lantern),

so this is weird… I just went to teh website…. there are numerous references to the green lantern corps, and it even implies that there is a corps team, and gives special rules for them. But there are no green lantern figures… none at all.

on a good note though, they have this, which you will be buying me for Christmas, being released on Dec. 2:

Well, Giganta would be easy enough to make. Just paint some other female figure. Toyman would be tricker, though….

Sorry, but I have to quibble with the image. Your camera has a Macro focus button on the back. Use it. It changes the minimum focus distance from 57cm to 10cm (4″). Once you set this, make sure the subject is 4″ or more from the camera, you can’t cheat! Then make sure focus sensor is on the item when you press the shutter. If you want, you can press the shutter button halfway down to autofocus, and then recompose the image before pressing it fully. Thanks.

Another thing: it is unintuitive, but your lens will focus its closest at the wide angle setting (NOT the telephoto setting). You’ll get more zoom, but it won’t focus crisply. So set your camera to macro and the widest zoom setting!
