More Tarot cards that I shot this weekend. I’m continuing the idea of keeping the aces and tens linked. This time with Max posing for the cups cards.
Yes, that really is beer. Yes he finished it.
I’m much happier with this card than the last one I did. It turned out exactly how I had originally envisioned it. My only real worry being if its too hokey having a rifle with bayonet as a sword. If I have a complaint, it’s that the gun is SO big that I had to be farther away from him than I really wanted to be. That might be ok.
Anyway, comments welcome and more to come.
Adjusted processing and cropping of this version of the wheel of forutune card. I still don’t think I like it as much as some of the other cards, but I do feel like its a lot better. Still, would love other opinions. Blah…
Another day, another Tarot card. I’m not totally sure how I feel about this one. It just doesn’t feel right to me. I think mostly I’m not happy with my lighting job this time and I think the concept might have been too literal and obvious almost campy. I don’t know. This may be one that I have to reshoot or come up with a different concept for. It just doesn’t feel right to me right now.
Would love to hear opinions and comments.
Amaya had this crazy notion of working with something like 1,642,334,563,434,278 photographers in 48 hours during her roadtrip. I was the absolute last on the list. She was dead tired by the time she got to me, but I’m still pretty pleased with how the pics turned out.
Yes, its the 300 effect processing again. I’m becoming as fond of it as I am of chiaroscuro backdrops. Maybe it’s a phase that I’ll grow out of.

Little known fact. I like china dresses. Almost as much as I like school girl outfits. I have a problem… I know.

Day 286 of 365 days. I haven’t felt the slightest bit creative all day. This was the first day in 286 that I really just couldn’t care less about photography or 365 or anything. I was just completely burnt out. I’ve been working pretty hard on the Tarot Project lately. I’ve finished several new cards.…
an alternate version of the Queen of Swords card with a pose the model liked better. Definitely looking for opinions here. Which feels more detached?
Juri was nice enough to drive all the way to Pittsburgh from DC for the Tarot shoot and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Not only was she fun to shoot, but this was one of the easiest editing jobs I’ve ever had to do. She was pretty much perfect for the card and had the exact right look I wanted for a staff card and her skin was perfect for the staff effect.
Would love feedback as always.
