Ok, I give up. We have a big storm coming. I decided to try and stay ahead of it, by shoveling and salting my walkway as it came. Uh yeah, good luck with that. I went out three times tonight. The most recent time, the ground was covered by the time I got to the other side of the sidewalk. This is what my hair looked like whne I cam back inside.

There’s just no use, so I’m throwing in the towel.

I quoted my grandfather yesterday. My mom reminded me of another of his sayings: "I ain’t shoveling nothing. God put it there, he’ll get rid of it when he’s good and ready."

I told you he was wise.
