For Class with Dave. Assignment: Fill the frame

I actually fill the frame on portraits all the time, so I wanted to do something a little different. I ended up stopping by the Mt. Oliver Fire Department on my way home the other day and asked if I could take pictures of them cleaning their trucks. Initially I was going to use that as my "newsworthy" photo, but frankly all of them sucked. But I did like this shot and so here it is.

Ooooo I really like this one. I never thought of doing a large object for my full frame photo… duh.

@lrayholly: yeah, I added a description explaining why I did it after you commented.

Fire Trucks always rock! Did you take any close ups?

@alaskanmariner: nah, no closer than this. I didn’t want to stay in their way any longer than I had to.

Hi, I’m an admin for a group called American LaFrance Fire Apparatus, and we’d love to have your photo added to the group.
