Day 123 of 365 days.
This is actually something I wanted to do for a while. Kind of an abstracted self portrait. Actually its just a macro of my skin. I hadn’t been able to really get it before because I couldn’t get my hand far enough away from the 300mm lens to focus on it myself and I didn’t want any help with it. But tonight I figured out the secret. After weeks of thinking about it, I realized I didn’t have to actually use the skin on my hand. And so a quick zoom and focus on the top of my foot and there it is. I feel stupid now.

excellent use of your macro here mav!! and, eh, so you didn’t think of using your foot in the first place…it’s cold out now and you probably have shoes on most of the time, so it was an honest mistake 😉
