Day 112 of 365 days.
There were many opportunities for a kick ass picture today. There was a torrential downpour this morning. A massive windstorm this afternoon and I went to a flickr event this evening. And yet none of the photos I took compared to this. And so here’s what we have. What I like I about this backup shot is that I didn’t use any of my special lights. I didn’t use my tripod (actually I used my tiny little mini tripod). I didn’t bother to go into my studio. I didn’t even really set anything up. I just pointed, held the autofocus til I heard the beep and shot. I’m quite pleased with the result.

Oh, I really wanted to go to the Flickr party, but I had to work! And made very little money, so what a waste! I so rarely get to do all that I want, though……Hope it was fun!
