on odd dynamics between parties, professions, jobs, jams, employment and inebriation… (redux)

So, as I was saying… there is this odd little trend of the last couple of years wherein my employment cycles and my party cycles seem to coincide:

Wed. July 31st, 2002 – Last official day of work for Merv Griffin Show — laid off….
Sat. Aug 3rd, 2002 – Jammy Jam 2002
Sat. Nov 2nd, 2002 – Halloween Jam 2002
Mon. Nov 4th, 2002 – 1st official day of work for Wayne’s World — temp contract…
Fri. May 23rd, 2003 – Last official day of work for Wayne’s World — contract expires…
Sat. May 24th, 2003 – Aloha Jam 2003
Sat. Aug 16th, 2003 – Jammy Jam 2003
Mon. Aug 18th, 2003 – 1st official day of work for Merv Griffin Show — temp contract…

add to that:

Fri. Sep 26th, 2003 – Short notice, small and intimate debauchery party
Wed. Oct. 1st, 2003 – Last official day of work for Merv Griffin Show — contract expires…

Now the next party is scheduled for either Oct 31st or Nov 1st (Halloween Jam). Please God, I beg you. Please don’t send me back to TechRx. Don’t send me back to that awful awful place… Please can’t I find a job cleaning toilets in a fast food restaurant on November 3rd? Or maybe smell checking smog emissions? Is there any need for someone who can be strapped to a boulder and have their liver eaten out by a crow once a day? I think I can do that… anything… anything else at all…

On another note… anyone else wanna get drunk Wednesday night?
