Sarah wanted to get her friend Starr into modeling and so she brought her by for a photoshoot. It’s always fun to work with a new model, especially one as cute as Starr. She did a great job for her first time out.
Sarah had the idea of doing a set of B&W dorm room style shoots. After a lot of debating possible outfits and fashions, we ended up going with very simple denim and wifebeaters. I think it had a great style to it

Now, for something a little different. Rachael wanted some pics with her mother, Dana, so I invited them over to the studio to sit for me.
It was nice doing something a little different than I usually do, but still beautiful and glamorous just the same.
I wonder if I’ll still get a gazillion views without all the nudity and stuff. Probably not. Oh well, I think they’re pretty nonetheless.

After I went in the waterfall for my 365 shot, the girls all promised that they’d go in there to let me take a picture of them together. They slowly managed to get about half way there before Jess bailed out completely and came back and Steph and Amaya decided it was too cold. So they decided to get pics under "the little waterfall" as they called it, or as I would call it, water dribbling over the side of the rock. But whatever, it was hella cute.

This was my initial idea for a 365 shot. Because, hey, how often do you get to frolic under a waterfall with 3 pretty girls in bikinis. But I ended up really liking the solitary nature of a shot by myself, so I’m using that instead.
Anyway, here’s what I did today. Jealous?
Spent the day with my friend Cheryl who is visiting from Seattle. Obviously no one can visit me without doing a photoshoot. So this is the first of the shots that I have processed of her. More to come when we’re done hanging out.
Back before I was a bum (errr… starving artist), I used to be a pretty decent user interface (UI) designer. Cheryl was my intern. Over the years she’s become a really good friend. These days, Cheryl lives in Seattle where she designs video games for Nintendo Gameboys (right now she’s doing Shrek 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 3). She’s also one of the voices in the game the crazy successful Sims video games (she’s a little easier to understand in real life). So whenever you play a video game, keep in mind that it might not exist were it not for my supremely excellent mentoring skills.
