You know what a fun way to procrastinate at the end of the week is? Drawing (and solving) Pictionary puzzles! Yep, you know you want to. Rules are the same as always. Open to all players and 10 points to whoever can guess the right answer before Jameel. And go!
Ok… My last few pictionary puzzles were way too easy. This one may be a little trickier. At least I hope it is. We’ll see. Rules are the same as always. 10 points to whoever guesses the answer correctly before Jameel.
Wow, I haven’t done one of these since May! Way too long. So here we go. The rules are, 10 points to whoever can guess the puzzle before Jameel. I’d say it was easy, but I always think it’s easy… *shrug* Timer starts now.
It’s been a while since I did one of these, so we’ll jump back in with an easy one. At least, I think it is… whenever I think that though, people always think that they’re super hard. We’ll see. Ten points to whoever can guess the mystery clue before Jameel does. Timer starts now.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, hey Mav, since you are off of school and work this week and clearly just sitting around doing nothing, why don’t you hook us up with some Facebook Pictionary love? Well, except that I’m not doing nothing. I’m hard at work on a paper because I’m a grad…
Here’s a longer one. Since I always say they’re easy, I’m just going to go ahead and say this one is hard and see how it goes. Rules are the same as always. Its a phrase of some sort. Ten points to whoever can figure it out before Jameel. And the timer starts now!
It’s been a little while, and I’m at a break between things I need to do this morning, so I thought I’d take five minutes out and do a Pictionary sketch! The rules are the same as always, the timer keeps going until Jameel guesses right. 10 points to anyone who gets the answer before…
You know what I haven’t done in a long time? Mav and Jameel’s Facebook Pictionary!!! Well, the wait is over. For those who haven’t played before, the rules are simple. I come up with a famous phrase, title, person, etc… and then I spend 2 minutes or so drawing a Pictionary clue to what the…
On the way home from the car dealer yesterday, Jameel and I both took cameraphone shots of each other out the windows. Here’s Jameel flashing the peace sign as I drove by him.
What I really love is the distortion on the truck in the background. I think its a combination of the warping of my window, a longish exposure for a cameraphone shot and the effective speed of 130+ mph (combined his speed and mine) as we passed each other on the highway.
Day 665 of 365 More.
If I could only do one kind of picture in the 365 project it would be fake magazine covers. And if I was only allowed to fake one cover, over and over again, it would be this one.
Jameel ad I had the idea to do this cover with Steph way back when I did it the first time, and after yesterday’s virtual collaboration, I thought it might be nice to do an in person one as well.
So there you go. Steph’s a pimp.
And you think I’m bad.
Day 526 of 365 More. And I’m done. It’s about time. Had the show at Creative Treehouse. I had said ahead of time that if I sold one print I would consider it a success. I sold four! So, I guess that’s 400% of my expectations. So woohoo! Of course I spent far more on…
I loved this one shot from the Jameel and Stu photoshoot so much that I decided it had to be the Lovers card. While on one hand it’s nice to have another card done for the deck, it kind of sucks that now I have to redo both of their previous cads, Wheel of Fortune and The Tower. Bt really, I guess it’s for the best. I want the deck to look as good as possible, and this one is just perfect.
Day 513 of 365 More. Well, its the aftermath of the Steelers loss, but life must go on. First of all, the new 365 podcast is up. Please go check it out and let us know what you think. This week we’re offering basic tutorials on lighting and focusing. Also, let me know if you…
These are the final shots from my shoot with Stu and Jameel for the Black and Light project. I thought the whole thing went very well. And I’m quite happy with the results. Now help me pick the best ones.
This is an outtake from the Black and Light shoot with Jameel and Stu. The mood isn’t quite right for somberness of the rest of the B&L set, but I love the shot too much to just let it go. I’m tempted to get it framed. I simply love it.
