Did a photoshoot with Theresa the other day. It was the first time she modeled for me (or anyone) but I think she did great. She’s quite animated and about the friendliest person ever.

The final outfit from the shoot was borrowed from me. Theresa has a very tomboyish look that is adorable and sexy at the same time. So I let her borrow my basketball jersey and a pair of boxers. I think it worked out quite well for her. I’m not giving up on lingerie, but this was a nice switch for a change.

Did a photoshoot with Theresa the other day. It was the first time she modeled for me (or anyone) but I think she did great. She’s quite animated and about the friendliest person ever.

Wasn’t quite as happy with this outfit for Theresa. It was a more classic kind of glamour, but she borrowed the dress from Steph, and even though she looks pretty, it just didn’t capture her more tomboyish personality the way the other outfits did. They’re ok, shots, I suppose, but to me, it was just the wrong kind of sexy for her.

This is the second outfit from the shoot. By this time she was getting much more comfortable with the modeling and I think it shows. Even though we tried to get her a little sexier here with the lace halter, she has a certain tomboy appeal about her that is both natural, playful and quite attractive. I think it really came through in these.

These first four from the set are in the clothes she showed up in. I like to spend sometime talking to each model and just relating and being friendly. It’s the first part of getting natural emotions.

Taken for the Class with Dave group. The assignment was to make a partial desaturation/color cutot picture with on one color. This is of course something I’ve done a bunch so it wasn’t that big a deal. But I tried to find a good subject to do it with. Steph was nice enough to pose for me for a pic (a rare occurance actually) and this is what I came up with.

Martin’s Ferry Steel Plant

Taken for the Class with Dave group. The assignment was to take a picture of some sort of architecture in black and white and to share the photoshop settings for the translation with the group. This shot was immediately what sprang to mind when I read the assignment. Its a steel plant on the way to one of the cities I wrestle in. I took the shot on the way home so that it would be darker and the lights would be on. I used a fairly long exposure and a higher ISO to get a lot of exposure detail.

In photoshop I used a channel mixer adjustment layer to set it to black and white with the following settings:

Red: +20%, Green: +35%, Blue: +75%

Then I added a levels adjustment layer with these settings:

input Black: 15, input Mid: 1.0, input White: 240
output Black: 0, output White: 255
