Went outside for a cigarette and noticed that the full moon was exceptionally bright tonight. Figured it was a good excuse to play with my macro lens.

Ok, so Stephanie seems to be a little confused after my last post, so I made this handy dandy little Venn diagram. You can all print this out and carry it in your wallets. It contains everything you should ever need to know to get through life.

Harry Potter vs. Ron Weasly, redux (and a poll for the masses): Ok, so last night (https://www.facebook.com/chrismaverick/posts/10152273308866654)I ranted about JK Rowling's thing where she said that she screwed up and Harry and Hermione should have ended up together instead of Ron and Hermione (http://on.io9.com/2KbGovA). And then as always I went on to use that as a platform to make some demeaning sex joke. You know, like... it's what I do, right? So anyway, a bunch of people Like'd the post, because it's Facebook and that's what people do. I of course know that reason you all do this is because of my amazingly clever and biting wit. BUT, Stephanie seems to have a question about that. She theorizes that some people might have been Like'ing the post because they agree with Rowling and Harry and Hermione should have ended up together. So here's the poll. 1) Should Hermione have ended up with Ron or Harry. 2) Do you tend to Like my FB posts because of the content of the link or because of what I say about them.

seriously... I don’t get how teenagers and twenty-somethings do college at all.... 1) If I were this frustrated 20 years ago, I totally would have given up and gone drinking by now (which I often did, and hence some of the problems I had when I was an undergrad). 2) I have a house. In my house I have an office. My office is specifically constructed for me to do work. Like, I have walls that are whiteboard from ceiling to floor. How the hell do people work in libraries and computer clusters? I realize there are whiteboards and stuff in libraries and public computer labs, but people like erase them. Look at this picture. This is the contents of my brain over the last 3 weeks or so. If this whiteboard were to be erased the chances of me finishing this paper would essentially be zero. 3) They don't let you take beer into the libraries and computer clusters. It simply is not possible to write a 20 page paper without beer. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.
