    West Lester Holt Moore’s Law,
Slugs before d4s at least no more laws

Looking at the pictures, I wasn’t making any progress but as soon as I read this, I knew the answer. I totally could have gotten this before Jameel if I’d seen it when it was posted. It is my favorite epitaph. (Although “Dúirt mé leat go raibh mé breoite,” does run a close second.)

Oh good. I finally did a harder one.

There was a comment from Anders Weinstein, but it disappeared?!?!

      I thought better of it.

Vaguely remembered from the first and last lines, had to google for the full thing.

I write it out for free points before Jameel chimes in, but that just feels like cheating. I was never going to get that

Obviously, points to Anders. He should get some bonus points too for difficulty.

Hmm, this is actually the only one I’ve had much of shot at. Mav and Jameel share pop culture references I usually don’t recognize. But Moore’s law !

This is why Mav and I make a terrible pictionary team.

  7. June 9, 2016 at 4:54 pm

I recognize it, but I never would’ve gotten it.

    10 points for Anders.

-1 point to Steph for trying to convince me that “?=?” is somehow not a lie.

If you had a third line, then I’d agree.

    WTH? Uncle…

Also, while Moore’s Law is well drawn, the axis is drawn incorrectly on the graph

    1. June 10, 2016 at 6:33 am

      Why’s that?

    2. June 10, 2016 at 6:37 am

Because the y axis should be going up from the 0 point (or the 1946 point depending on your point of view).

    3. June 10, 2016 at 7:02 am

It doesn’t actually matter which side I draw the axis on. It might have give more room on the left. But whatever.
