So my house has a home security system installed. We also have infrared security cameras that point at our yard. I was outside a moment ago having a cigarette on my porch and a little boy, maybe seven, who lives in the neighborhood asked me about them.
Boy: Hey mister, what is that camera for?
Mav: It’s a security camera. It keeps people from breaking in or doing bad things to my house.
Boy: Oh, so it keeps you safe?
Mav: Yep.
Boy: Hmm…. I thought it was for the kids.
Well…. yeah…
Astute little bugger.
