Day 152 of 365 days.
So as I’ve stated, I’ve been dealing with constant job interviews and recruiter calls. I’ve been so distracted with them that I hadn’t even gotten to my traditional FUNemployment (what my friends call unemployment) ritual. Usually, the first official day of my unemployment I spend sitting back, relaxing and having a mimosa or four
in my bubble bath while I watch movies on my laptop. Now why would I sit in my bathtub when I have a hottub? I dunno. It’s just different, I guess. So I did that today.
Anyway, sadly, my bath was interrupted because apparently the stopper in the tub is broken so my water drained out before I could finish my ritual. I only got to drink two of the mimosas in the tub. Still, it was nice. But now there’s something else I have to fix.

Unemployment is great fun. Although I’ve never actually been on unemployment, I have been unemployed.
hmmm, sorry to hear that your tub drained before you were done. i <3 baths, but sadly, i rarely take them…and i don’t have a hot tub to make up for the lack of baths. so, i shower. sounds like you need a new bath tub stopper!!! 2 mimosas though…that means it wasn’t draining too quickly…or you were drinking really fast!!
as for FUNemployment…yes, i’ve experienced this 1 time in my life…summer of 2003, 6 months after i bought my house my job let me go…luckily i was able to still afford my mortgage payment with the help of roommates…then the week that my unemployment ended, prior to finding a job…i found out i was pregnant… ah! that was "fun-employment" at it’s finest ;-P
