So I already knew that I shared a birthday with Tempestt Bledsoe (Vanessa from the Cosby Show) and Dom DeLuise (2nd fiddle to Burt Reynolds, looks a lot like Paul Prudhomme) and Francis Scott Key (writer of some silly little song or something), but I just looked up other interesting things about my birthday.
- Juliet Capulet‘s birthday. – You know, you’d think in one of the billion times that I’ve read that play, I would have noticed, but I never did. And yet its true.
- Herman Melville‘s birthday
- Oxygen was discovered – exactly 200 years to the day I was born.
- Switzerland was founded
- Colorado became the 38th state
- MTV premiered – actually, now that I think about it, I actually remember that happening on my 7th birthday… I had just forgotten
- Anne Frank‘s Last Diary Entry – Something else you’d think I’d have noticed at some point.
- A Hard Day’s Night by the Beatles – Reached #1 exactly 10 years to the day I was born.
- Amazing Fantasy #15 – Published by Marvel Comics in 1962… the final issue of a more or less unnotable series. – Thwip!
