I am surprised they haven’t made a CopRock movie.

Geoff: Dude, I was unaware you liked Manimal. Manimal was awesome!!!

Mark: I have long maintained that Cop Rock was ahead of it’s time. Its looked at as a laughing stock, but that’s just because it was 20 years too early. Look at the 2010s TV landscape. Cop Rock was totally part police procedural and part Glee. It would be the best thing on TV today!

Manimal. lol And Yahoo Screen? Never heard of it, and if someone has to subscribe to it with actual $$, no one will watch this. Too bad Netflix couldn’t have grabbed it.

Absolutely. I used to watch MANIMAL and MAGNUM P.I. with my aunt when I was a kid.

I have heard of Yahoo Screen before this announcement. Like two months ago, I was trying to watch all of Rolling Stone’s 50 best SNL skits. Googling found a bunch of them only on Yahoo Screen. And, of course, I was like “What the fuck is Yahoo Screen? Is this some distant remnant of the broadcast.com purchase?”

I’m a fan of the show and I was really excited thinking that Netflix had picked it up, then had to say to myself, Yahoo What??? Is this another service I’m expected to pay $8 for just to watch 1 or 2 good shows and a few movies every few months? I’m happy that it’s not but I’d essentially given up on all things Yahoo when they started inserting batshit right-wing opinion pieces into their normal news stream.
