Day 851 of 365 Again.

Worked on trying to fix the drive all night. Nothing worked. At this point I’m tired of screwing with it. At least for now.

I did buy a replacement for it, but I’m beginning to seriously fear that the data itself is lost forever.

I may start killing people soon.

Shit!!!

    For some reason I think if the gun had "force quit" stencilled on the side I and about handful other geeks would smile.

    DON’T SHOOT!!!
    the bullet would just bounce off, and tear up some other piece of your equipment……..
    (sigh – so sorry – wish I knew the answer for you…… my son’s terabyte "died" and he was told by the Best Buy geek squad that the data could "possibly" be recovered, for $1,500. —– )

    Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)

    @Babs1696: that’s actually pretty cheap for data recovery. It could be even higher. And yeah, there are no guarantees even with that.

    @DeHoll: they started it.

    @Chaparral [Kendra]: yeah…. I mean, not like I couldn’t lose negatives too though.
