Day 532 of 365 More.

Closing time – time for you to go out, go out into the world.
Closing time – turn the lights up over every boy and every girl.
Closing time – one last call for alcohol, so finish your whiskey or beer.
Closing time – you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here.

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home…

Ever since Real World Hawaii, that song goes through my head whenever I’m packing to move somewhere.

Today was our last day at work in our old offices. I had a meeting at noon, and after that we packed up everything in boxes and prepared it for the movers to take to our new place, which is finally now finished.

The really good news is that after we finished around 4pm, there were no computers to work on so we all got to go home early. The bad news was that once I got home, I got to spend all night working on my podcast tutorial. Finally got to sleep around 5am, only to wake up at 7 to go back into work (on a Saturday) and help supervise the movers (and move servers and other stuff we don’t trust non-employees to touch).

Take me home….

I hate moving! You know that we’ve moved SO much that I don’t care if I never move again… although I’m sure that I will.

Oh well, enjoy your new digs!

Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)

@lrayholly: yeah, I didn’t even know I was going to have to go in today (Saturday) until Friday. And I had a photoshoot after. It’s been a busy day.

I love that ENTIRE record by Semisonic. I highly recommend a listen if you haven’t heard it.

Sorry about the no sleep thing. Hope the podcast isn’t taking too much of a toll on you.

I was wondering where your post was. I was shocked it wasn’t up this morning!

@Stephen Poff: nah… its fine. It was just a busy weekend, that’s all.

@spresogna: oh, we’re still in squirrel hill. In fact, we literally moved around the corner. Our lunch dates are not in jeopardy.
