stu and jameel black and light laughing

This is an outtake from the Black and Light shoot with Jameel and Stu. The mood isn’t quite right for somberness of the rest of the B&L set, but I love the shot too much to just let it go. I’m tempted to get it framed. I simply love it.

    I love this shot hon! I think you should make it into business cards that you can give out at the gallery show.

    @{Blue}: you’re welcome. Thank you.

    @lalalaa Dolce Vita: Thanks. I’m thinking I just might.

    @Neal Romanek: thank you.

    @mickeysacks: thanks, luv. I already have cards, and it’ll take me quite a while to get through them, I think. But when i do, I think I’ll be adding this to the set.

    Such a fun picture. I love how you captured it. The laughing is nearly contagious.

    love this one the best! 🙂

    @terpsichoreann: the biggest problem with this is that its the wrong aspect ratio, and I can’t really crop it any tighter without losing some of its appeal. But I do love the shot. I dunno what I’m going to do here.

    i love it too. such joy

    and i don’t think it needs a crop. this framing has nice tension, any other framing i could think of as effective would be wider than this. it’s really nice as is, the emotion is shown well

    It might be interesting to tuck into the show somehow. A smaller size, somewhere unexpected. Kind of an odd one out that people wouldn’t be expecting. It would have even more of the effect since it doesn’t fit the theme or the aspect ratio, or size of the other pictures involved in the show.

    Seen in my recent comments. (?)

    @wimdejonge and @Mr.Thomas: Thanks. Right now, I’m thinking of having it as a smaller photo on the table in my exhibit instead of hanging on the wall.

    @pinkangelbabe: it was a natural moment. They were laughing a lot and trying to get it out of their system for another shot, and I just kept snapping.

    @! ModernCitizen: Thank you. Having the candid outtakes is one of the most fun parts of a photoshoot.

    @Child of a Flowerchild: thank you.
