Day 410 of 365 More.

So, I have this pattern the last couple of years. Around February or March I start looking in the mirror and become disgusted with how out of shape I’ve become. Then I spend five or six months working out like mad to get in shape so that I look good by Jammy Jam. Then I start slacking off again and get out of shape.

It’s a horrible, vicious cycle.

I think I am going to try to break it. As part of the plan to become new happy fun Maverick, I’m going to try to work out more. Let’s see how long this lasts.

    20 minutes of sweaty exercise daily has the SAME affect on your brain as if you were taking anti-depressants! So sayeth my wise naturopath. in my experience, she’s right!

    Seen in my contacts’ photos. (?)

    Good luck! I’m sure you’ll feel better all around. Now if I can just convince myself to start up again.

    you can do it, if you can commit to 365(twice!), you can commit to working out daily.plus if you do it enough, that endorphin buzz will kick in.

    My excuse is that I haven’t hooked up my DDR… you know that’s the only "exercise" that I like. Maybe I’ll break down and do that. It WOULD be a way to work off calories and frustrations. Plus, like you, I’m not in love with what I’ve seen in the mirror lately. Who stole my body and replaced it with a fat old woman?

    Good for you and Good Luck!

    How many pushups did you have to do to get this shot?

    @lalalaa Dolce Vita: I don’t know if that’s true or not. But really, it’s not my brain I am worried about. It’s looking good naked.

    @Sick Little Monkey: well, I’m just trying to keep with it.

    @ms.Tea: you’d think so, wouldn’t you. But I don’t know why I always have trouble working out when I’m not worried about looking hot for some reason. I just don’t have the same drive to be an athelete (as much as I like it) as I do to be an artist.

    @lrayholly: well, its more surprising when *I* look like a fat old lady.

    @MegaBee: I don’t remember. Maybe 50? 100? somewhere in there.
