Day 231 of 365 days.

Someone just shoot me and put me out of my misery. I expected to feel like crap today because today was Steph’s grandmother’s funeral. But she took pity on me and told me I didn’t have to go since she’d be spending the day with her family and she’d be ok. I offered a few times to suck it up but she told me it was unnecessary. Good thing too. I started feeling really ill yesterday evening. This morning I had all but lost my voice and I could barely breathe. My chest is burning with pain and my muscles are sore. I’m barely in condition to get out of bed. It sucks.

On a good note, being confined to my couch all day did get me to write a bit more of my paper. Half the time I think I’m in pretty good shape, half the time I think I’m doomed and its complete shit. One way or another, in a week, it will all be over.

Took this just because I’d been wanting to do something with my little siren and the Class with Dave assignment is to do an 8 second exposure. I don’t know that I’m going to be using it for the class but I figure with 365 days, some can be used for experimentation.

That is really eerie! I know you don’t remember him, but this made me think of Ghoulardi on Channel 8 in Cleveland. I’ve forgotten the name of the guy that fashioned himself after Ghoulardi, but that was probably your generation. This is freaky 🙂 I guess I’m going to have to start experimenting now.

@lrayholly: why wouldn’t I remember Ghoulardi. And the guy who fashioned himself after Ghoulardi was simply called "the Ghoul"

I wasn’t sure he was still around in your time. Yeah, the Ghoul, that was the guy. He wasn’t as good as Ghoulardi!

Scary, ominous picture Mav! Great one!

I hope you’re feeling better soon

@lrayholly: technically he had retired in ’66. But I’ve seen clips. The guy who played (plays) the Ghoul was Ghoulardi’s assistant. Ghoulardi told him he could use the name, but since he was changing networks, he wanted to make sure it was just a name he owned in case the network tried to sue. But they’re supposed to be the same character.

@Travelinjim: yeah, me too… this totally sucks. Thanx.

I think lots of people would be willing to shoot you…but only with their cameras. Feel better, I spent the day on the couch too.
