Day 207 of 365 days.
Sometimes date night isn’t super romantic. Today, Steph and I went to look at carpet for the upstairs bedroom that we’ve bee working on. It’s not exactly a candlelit dinner with handholding, but it was something nice to do and important. Tomorrow they’re coming to measure the attic and soon we’ll have the new carpet installed. We’re very close to being able to move upstairs. It’s terribly exciting.
We did not get the rug that I am looking at, btw, but it made for a more interesting picture than the solid silver that we did decide on.
Wow, so now that you’ve got it all fixed up, you’re not gonna let me sleep up there anymore, huh? Well, that sucks. 😉
@lrayholly: yeah, the plan is that our current bedroom becomes the new guest room.

@cellardoore: well, you live in pittsburgh, right? I could take you to wear I bought it… but it was like 3 years ago, I don’t know that they have this particular one any more. Lots of cool clothes though.
Yeah, it’s a nice rug, but it just doesn’t look like a "Maverick" rug. A bit too frou frou. lol
@Travelinjim: there’s actually a similar one in steph’s office right now. I don’t know what she’s going to do with it once its carpeted.
I was thinking of hanging it up in the living room (thanks for the idea, btw :).

steph has informed me that she is not actually moving out, and I hereby apologize as I’d like to be able to sleep in my bed tonight.
