Day 180 of 365 days.

I’m feeling a little better today, not that things are really looking up. Maybe its just that I made myself useful today. Went and got my weekly comic books, then did some grocery shopping. I felt all proactive and was looking forward to doing my daily workout and then for some reason my leg cramped up. It has been like that ever since. It hurts when I’m just sitting here, and I’m limping when I walk, so I imagine trying to use the elliptical would probably kill me. So no workout for me today. I’ve been stretching it, and that’s not helping, so I think I’ll tiger balm it tonight and sleep on it and hopefully it’ll be good by morning.

Anyway, spent the night hanging out with Steph and Shannon and playing Karaoke Revolution American Idol and then Trivial Pursuit. I suck at Karaoke Revolution but I’m nigh unbeatable at Trivial Pursuit. In any case, had a fun time will have to do it again sometime.

You look peaceful. Wish I were there so I could play games with you guys.

@shan: oh please… you’d kick my ass if I weren’t on the easy level.

@mom: yeah, right, like you’d last ten seconds in this weather.

Aw, I didn’t realize you were going through "stuff" Sorry to hear that. You look utterly sweet in this shot though. Quite peaceful. Hope your leg is better soon. Working out is supposed to be good for your mood. Feel better! Oh and I bet I could kick your ass at Pursuit! Heehee

I love Trivial Pursuit! So much fun. I want to play, too.

And I also want to give you hugs. You look so sad.

I just saw your shot from yesterday and I’m sorry you are down, Mav.
If you are prone to depression anyway (as I am), then winter makes it worse and so does idleness. It must be really hard to be out of work for you. I do find that once I get going on something (get proactive, as you said), that I start to feel better.
Hang in there and know that we’re all here for you if you need anything!

What do you read weekly anyway Chris?

@jessi: sure, fly to Pgh, and we can play all the trivial pursuit you want. Steph would love you for it.

@Sarah: Yeah, I’ll be ok. Thank you for caring.

@AJ: you mean comics? Way too many to mention. Mostly Marvel and DC stuff, but others too.

glad to hear that you’re feeling a little better than the day before, but so sorry about your leg!! that sucks. you know that leg/foot cramping can be caused by a lack of calcium, so drink some more milk, eat some more salmon or other small boned fishes, and just increase your dairy. of course, i suppose this could be something completely unrelated….but if you’ve had it recur, try this and see if it helps.

great shot…but, again, i’m sorry it’s at the expense of your health and mental state. glad that you had fun with shannon and steph 😀 i love to play trivial pursuit…but i suck! and as for karaoke….not unless you’ve gotten me sufficiently drunk first ;-P

@pi c’s: So I’m actually highly allergic to dairy products. Not just lactose intolerance. I have an aaphylactic allergy to them. So I could drink more milk, and sure that might make my leg better, but it would also likely kill me.

As for karaoke, well certrainly it should involve copious amounts of alcohol. We’ll work on it when you visit.
