Day 27 of 365 days.
So this was something I have been wanting to try since I did the Sun Sword picture a few days ago. Kind of a Human Torch inspired thing. The final result here wasn’t actually what I was originally envisioning, but I kind of like the effect. More or less anyway. There are some things I really don’t like about it. But I decided to leave well enough alone. Flame on!

The best thing is that its 2:30AM and today’s picture is out of the way, so I can devote all night on Thursday to the Steelers home opener.

So now after a few days of essentially candids and photoshop wankery, I think I’m going to want to go back and do something stark and artistic soon (and wankerish). If only I had a single idea for it. Hrmmm….

I think your ideas are always brilliant, so i don’t worry about the next days… Reminds me of some eyecandy filters or so in photoshop i used some years ago. This here looks more like you used the built-in PS feature called "verflüssigen" in german ( liquify/ fluid…). Good job! I like it.

While Robert Maplethorpe’s work is certainly stark and artistic, I think I can speak for the majority of the people viewing your photos in requesting that you skip the wanking picture.

I think the blur adds to it, making it a little more creepy. Nice work.
